Hmm, ok I'll get on this asap.
One possible temporary workaround if the drag-n-drop upload is working would be to upload the zip into a project via drag-n-drop, then copy this in the IDE console and hit "enter"
rm -rf updates/*; mv projects/projectName/Bela-master.zip updates/ && make checkupdate && make update
replace projectName in the second line above with the project name (e.g.: basic)

@giuliomoro just pushed a fix for this (tested only on chrome windows 7 so far, but pretty sure it was the problem) onto the dev branch. Should it maybe go on the master branch instead?
