It's on my ToDo list. I'd like to implement it also because it'd make possible
another
handy functionality: switching between matching modes (with F4?)

Alt+F4 closes the current window on Windows, and Ctrl+F4 closes the current tab
in
any OS. Would those shortcuts still work and if so would Ctrl+F4 close the
current
tab and switch matching modes? I don't think F2 is used by any shortcuts so that
might be a better option. Then again it might get hit by people on accident
aiming
for F3 then they'd just be confused when the matching mode switched. Maybe you
could
post your ToDo list somewhere like the front page?

<Alt>F4 and all other shorcuts would still work, they are independent.

Ok about the Todo list.
