Good catch! I was already filtering 'display:none' elements but I had forgotten
about
'visibility: hidden' style. You can checkout the source to test tight now or
wait to
next release.

Hi,
I just tried with latest sources but the issue seems not to be fixed.
I'm sorry that's my fault the description of my issue was based on the french
google
page, that's why I was talking about "connection" instead of "sign in".
In fact I was talking about the "find as you type" ribbon which really hides
words
behind it.
For example on www.google.com, if you type "Sign" you can't see "Sign in" which
is
behind the ribbon.

Good luck !

oh, I didn't understand the ribbon reference. The box has a 0.9 opacity to let
the user
see what's under it, maybe a lower value would be better? can you test with the
source
(line 36)?

The solution seems to be the top position of the ribbon (line 26).
I did some tests with 20px and it sounds good.
I think it's the easiest solution, the other one was to determine if the
ribbon's
position is over the text and to move the ribbon in consequence.

This bug is back? Go to www.google.com and type 'sign' which for me is in the
upper
right corner and it will be behind the ribbon. This was previously working for
me but
not anymore.

Tried with 0.2.5 released yesterday (it solved a problem with zoom), and it's
working
for me. Which version are you using?
