Which browser, OS, font type and zebra version are you using ?

OK, I took latest and copied again latest zebra.json (as I might have changed it yesterday ..). The problem is not on Mac OS X Chrome and Firefox. It remains only in Mac OS X Safari, but I did not check in Chrome and Firefox before I did the post - so I assume it is only in Safari Version 7.0.3 (9537.75.14).

Cannot reproduce the problem on safari 6.1.2. Have noticed "canvas" element is wrapped with font element in "index.html" of your project.
Could you try to don't include canvas element inside "font" element section ?
Could you try to set another font ("Arial") for the text field component ?

I removed font tag - no effekt in Safari. Setting Font to Arial is an improvement, but still the distance of cursor and text is ~ 1/2 - 1 character. I will try to find best Safari font :) - guess 12, not bold.
Let me know if you have som debug options that can help. If not, don't worry. I'm happt with Firefox and Chrome.
Hey this 'bug' remembers me on the buggy Java HtmlEditor several years ago - your conversion must be so accurate that it got moved to another platform ...

Good news the error is gone! - I cleaned and deactivated safari cache.

Great ! I have recently remembered the problem on IE that occurred one year ago, seems cache cleaning (or IE restart) also helped. Anyway I am installing mavericks virtual machine.
