Dart language developed (and developing) by Google.

Google is just another name of company :), it doesn't prove Dart is bright future of the WEB. JS and HTML5 is the trustable ground for WEB Client dev. Generally I keep my both hands up to port Zebra to other platforms including Dart, but unfortunately I am limited with time and resources and real work for real borring customers, the work has almost none relations to Zebra :(

... may be switching Zebra to LGPL (from GPL) can help to have more open source contributors. Should think about it

And it's hard to find someone who would be ported for you? I could do it, but do not have time and energy.

I have not tried widely advertising Zebra yet, most of events are happening in GIT. I am thinking over next steps that can help to demonstrate Zebra possibilities and features (sort of articles, docs, web site updates, demos etc). That is actually my target I am willing to archive.

Regarding contributors: I think it is difficult to find developers who will have enough time and enthusiasm to complet tasks they have assigned to do. enthusiasm evaporates very fast and enthusiasm often is in contradiction of quality :)

Dart's future is not clear. I agree with you. There is other way to have a good OOP and Ruby like syntax sticking with JS. Do you know about http://coffeescript.org/?

well, cofeescript looks great, but still cannot understand completely the necessity of conversion from one script language to another script language :) Anyway, I will try to take a look how easy Zebra OOP concept can be adopted to cofeescript transformation. May be it doesn't cost too much

TypeScript should be an easier path because it is a superset of JavaScript. The Zebra UI should work right away in TypeScript.

Leave it JavaScript. I'm not a big fan of JS, but too much time would be wasted in a port. Wait until the browsers settle the "browser byte-code" war (starting to brew with asm.js / pNaCl), then look at bring it it to byte-code if you need the speed.

Most likely this doesn't need to be done, as at least JS means this lib works in all browsers with minimal effort.
