Hi bairaginath,

I see two kind of separators in your example :
The header : name,address
--> has ',' as a separator
and the content itself : kuna, world,india,
--> has ', ' as a separator
Plus the last coma in the content which should be there.

Couple of things to do :

  • Find a common separator for the whole structure
  • Do some sanity checks on your file before injecting it to the component

please go through this CSV file
csvfile

When i converted to this file to JSON

it prints
{ "name":"kuna", "address":" "world,india," " }

but actually needs
{ "name":"kuna", "address": "world,india, " }

i also tried your latest version 0.0.15 , it also not working

address values are " " world,india," "

@bairaginath looks like you forgot the attachement, can you send it by email:

from angular-csv-import.

..,"hello, how are you".. in csv file (quoted due to value containing separator)
will get converted to
""hello, how are you""
instead of
"hello, how are you"

I like that this library is lightweight and works simply with angular, although it doesn't cover enough of the CSV spec to be reliable for all my customers
