Hello, you need to copy the "assets" folder in the image directory.
I did not understand if the other thing was a question or a suggestion.

OK, thank you. Now it should work. I must have missed those instructions.

It was actually just a suggestion, in case you felt like it would be a good idea. It makes the code independent of resource files, since it contain the encoded data in itself instead. It is a matter of what one prefer, of course.

I have thought about that, but it would be unnatural because you always have the asset files first and other engines use it this way. But maybe is a good point of discussion, it can be the other way, i dont know

Ok, i will have it in mind. Maybe is better to have examples auto containing the assets

As another suggestion,

you can call a system file explorer to get the folder path when a demo-folder-path has not been set, or if it doesn't exist anymore on the drive. Then just send the path to the instantiated asset manager to prepend files for loading.
