The v1.5.0 tag only covers the Go module code for the root of this repository. The Java plugin for the Smithy code generation framework found in the codegen folder is currently unstable and does not have any associated tag or published artifacts in any Maven repository.

No problem, I will discuss with the team further on how we want to better track changelog notes for the code generator specifically. As looking at our changelog today, I can see the confusion given that we describe codegen changes under the Go module version number.
