Just one remark to your changes toSvgDrawableTask: you annotated @OutputDirectory, fine. But shouldn't there be also a @InputDirectory annotation to assure Gradle's out-of-date mechanism is really working?

So I cloned this project, did a maven build to install it into local maven, and used the resulting snapshot-jar in the gradle build for the oeffi project.
Everythings ok, as far as I can see.

Confirming that version 3.0.2 still works on the Ubuntu-LTS-version of Gradle (3.4.1-7ubuntu1).

Yes, it should...
I'll rewrite the plug-in sooner or later,
This was just a quick fix for Gradle 5.0
Inputs and outputs are populated programmatically for now in the plug-in. Will rely on annotations in next release.
