Middle click not working yet.. about enable-elantech-on-ubuntu

Hi,

the enable-softbuttons.sh script define two area of the clickpad that should send right/middle click event when clicked.
It's all in the same command, so if right click works, middle click should work too.
The middle click area is defined to be the central part of the bottom of clickpad.

Is there an error when you execute "enable-softbuttons.sh" ?
What's happen exactly when you middle click ? (nothing ? right click ?)

I can see two things that you can investigate:

• check that synaptic driveryou use support middle click (look at "SoftButtonsArea" in synaptics man page)
• is there a behaviour defined for middle click ? (maybe it does nothing just because system does not know it has things to do :)
