I think switching to .NET Standard is the way to go, but ultimately @avatar29A has to decide.

@ry8806 I started a new develop branch moving to .net standard. Do you need to support version 1.4, or could the target be removed?

that can be removed, I was just trying to support the lowest version of .NetStandard we could get away with

I would, very much, like to use this library in a Xamarin/Uno project...please make this compatible with .NETStandard 2.0.
