I definitely agree with this, and having an interface element would make it much clearer to the user what is happening with these conditionals. The way it is, if we change the operator to AND, than from that point on to create OR conditions, we need separate ad codes for every condition. The interface at that point becomes a bit unwieldy.
If I get a bit of time, I'd be happy to submit some effort for this one.
