matchMedia isn't even in IE9 yet, so not enough browser support I'd say. window.width should do the trick in most places. Of course, if it doesn't for you, you're free to use whatever you want - _s is just a (great) starting point. :)

Definitely. I've build a few sites using _s now, and it's really a great project, this is just one thing I've changed each time. Keep up the good work!
