Have you tried using the main branch of AudioKit in the Cookbook? If not, what version of the AudioKit Swift Package are you using?

I'm using AK 5.4.1

This problem I have in several apps, but I see it occurs in the CookBook playlist too so thought I'd comment here :)

It does indeed. I tested it with main and made some tests pass in the PR above. Once it's merged, maybe you can give it another go with main?

This should work now since the changes to AudioKit have been merged and tagged.

Hey folks

OK re-running Cookbook now, showing AK v5.4.2

I thought the problem was fixed. Playing track 1 great, selecting track 2, plays immediately... GREAT!

BUT. plying track 3.... still same behaviour. Track 2 DOES NOT STOP and track 3 does not play, until selected again.

Any clues?

That's interesting. Do you have a project or maybe some code you could share? I can take a look at it tomorrow.

it does the exact same thing in the latest Cookbook -> Audioplayer -> Playlist

The code where this is replicated in the apps I have on the go is v similar to the original post... very basic... just wanna start a new track playing reliably with one click / call to .play() ideally!
