Can you share some steps for how to reproduce this please?
Also, if possible, could you try to reproduce this in safe mode (atom --safe)?

The same for me. It happens repeatedly when I focus some editor with js code. I suspect that one of the linters is guilty here. Or maybe it's the root linter package.
At least it stopped for me when I disabled the linter package.
