ugh, It showed two posts from me. I deleted one and it deleted both.

Anyway, this was happening to me about the same time you reported it. Closing the window and reopening a directory seems to fix it.

Are people still seeing this bug? I ran into it when this issue was created, but I'm not seeing it anymore.

I'm going to tentatively close this bug. We fixed one bug in the PathWatcher that would crash the render thread, which causes the "white screen" effect. Please re-open it if it appears. But make sure you've updated and run rake install first, since the candidate fix involved changes to native code.

Can you check the Console app and see if there are any Atom/Atom Helper entries with stack traces?
