Timer and Stopwatch lag/hang? about meta-smartwatch

I tested this behavior today on my carp, sturgeon, sparrow and lenok
I did not had any lags/hangs while using the stopwatch and the timer.
Both are running fine in the background when closing them or it idles to the watchface

But sometimes (very barely) it does not switch to the watchface when ideling in any asteroid app (AoD on):
If this happens while using the stopwatch the screen gets refreshed roughtly every min
