You should try updating your navigation template to something like this...

{{#each pages}}
  {{#is this.language ../language}}
  <li{{#if this.isCurrentPage}} class="active"{{/if}}>
    <a href="{{relative dest this.dest}}">{{ data.title }}</a>
  </li>
  {{/is}}
{{/each}}

This compares the language in the page from the loop to the language in the actual current page to see if they should be rendered.

Instead of this, I had to use data, but now it's working
