Open URL in browser about asphalt-web

I find that would be highly disruptive, but we could do what other frameworks do: print a url that users can click to launch a browser.

It's already the case, for FastAPI at least, since Uvicorn prints:

Uvicorn running on http://127.0.0.1:8000 (Press CTRL+C to quit)

Why do you think it would be disruptive, isn't it fine if it's an opt-in?

Typically what JupyterLab does. When you launch:

jupyter lab

It starts a server and opens a browser window at a specific URL. You need to explicitly pass --no-browser to not open a browser, but we could make it opt-in for Asphalt-Web.

Wouldn't such a thing have its own root component though? That would then be able to perform such an action.

I was thinking about that, but how would we know that the server has started? For FastAPI, it's when we exit this loop, right?

When you have a container component, it will need to call await super().start(ctx) in its overridden start() method. When that call returns, the server is guaranteed to have been started.
