Just ran into this issue trying to run pip3 with version 3.6.0.

Running it this way seems to fix it:

LD_LIBRARY_PATH=~/.asdf/installs/python/3.6.0/lib pip3 --help

I would think this is possible to handle in the shim file, but I'm not sure how the shell overloading of environment variables might work in that way.

The plugin is now a wrapper around python-build, so I think this should be fixed.
