@mvdbeek I personalized the file /home/galaxy/galaxy/static/welcome.html, set the variable welcome_url: "/static/welcome.html" in the role ansible-galaxy and restarted galaxy/nginx.
However, the welcome page stills the same. Can you help me with this one, please?

Problem solved. I did the same thing again and it works now. I think It was related to old versions of the playbook, but I do know for sure and I do not want to spend more time on this.
