I believe this is an encoding problem trying to convert it to html friendly "emailto:.."
url's convert fine. have not been able to determine where the conversion takes place if it is done out side of CIT or within.

That isn't my code, but Erlend's, so I don't immediately know where to look other than it appears to be in the 'white_list' plugin. Perhaps if we can track down an updated version of that plugin...

OK, turns out that whitelist was merged into Rails itself by the original author of that code. Now to only find where...
