This is a nice little tool, I hadn't seen before. Thanks.
We don't use it but if you'd like to contribute the few lines of code it would take to send an UP or DOWN, that should be reasonably easy to integrate.
Essentially we're talking about adding another code path to alert.py and a checkbox to the Service model.

Seems it have been care of by @packetcollision see issue #183, though i haven't been able to make it work locally
