You can do this with ref:

const switchRef = useRef(null);
<SwitchSelector
                ref={switchRef}
                initial={0}
                options={[
                  { label: '+', value: 1 },
                  { label: '-', value: 0 },
                ]}
              />

switchRef.current?.toggleItem(1);

Second this. Component won't dynamically update when state value changes.

Only way I could get it to update was to force a re-render via Component key change, but this is not a good solution.

I wish that I was better at gitHub! I would propose that this solution, which worked perfectly is in the documentation! Can anyone update this?
