If you haven't already, download and install the latest node.js installer for Windows, then install coffeescript:
npm install -g coffee-script
The command should end up in %APPDATA%\npm
. Use the where
command described previously to verify the path.
from sublime-better-coffeescript.
In a command window, type: where coffee.cmd
Then update the binDir setting in the User Settings for Better Coffeescript in the Package Settings.

When I type (ctrl+ `) 'where coffee.cmd' it gives me-> SyntaxError: invalid syntax
Do you have any ideas?
from sublime-better-coffeescript.
You need to do this on a Windows command prompt, e.g. Win+R, then type "cmd"
from sublime-better-coffeescript.
Did it in Win command console and now it gives "INFO: Could not find files for the given pattern(s)." means I really don't have the coffee.cmd. What else can I do to fix this?
Thanks a lot for help, man!
from sublime-better-coffeescript.
as a tip, I ran it from my %APPDATA%\Sublime Text 2\Packages still the same msg.

Thanks a lot, now it works just fine. I'm new to node.js/sublime environment and every non-Microsoft tool looks unfamiliar. Thanks ;)

@nborko Hi!
I'm facing this 'coffee.cmd' is not recognized as an internal or external command,
operable program or batch file. issue
I have installed coffeescript globally but nothing works
