seek method fails to set new rates. about gstreamer-java

What is the pipeline - can someone confirm either it does/doesn't work without 
using
Java (e.g. using gst-python or straight C). There are GST elements which do not
support this feature even though they are supposed to.

I tested the seek method only with the playbin and playbin2 elements. I'm not 
sure
what decoders they were using, most likely something from gstffmpeg.

Andres, I suggest closing this bug - unless it is a Java specific issue. My bet
