Ok, these are the files you wrote to me:

I modified the file /usr/share/transformer/commitapply/uci_dhcp.ca as you indicated (in fact, I replaced all the content)

I changed the content of the "domain name" field again

but in the file /etc/config/dhcp no changes have been made

I add that the domain name "localdomain" is added at the end of the file; I also find this IP, 151.99.125.1, completely unknown to me...

This IP address (151.99.125.1) is in the code of the tch_0020-network-lan files contained in the various subfolders in the path /etc/boards (but not in the subfolder VBNT-S, my board).

So the issue is tottaly different, a different, uci path is getting modified by the webui, pretty sure due to some changes made by the new firmwares..
