Well, it is meant to be able to easily differentiate your custom steps from the ones that Ansistrano do for you

I particularly like it and do similar things in my own playbooks, but others may disagree

For me, I like to see as much as possible taken care of by the tool itself: Ansible already prefixes actions with the role name and possibly the task.

I guess it's a matter of preference then. One likely influenced by the verbosity of your plays and/or the size of your font and/or typical width of your terminal and/or naming convention for your own playbooks & tasks. :-)

You are totally correct that the "name" of the role is what is displayed on the left column, not the playbook name. That makes some of my arguments less valid :)

Please see the above patch and let me know what you think. It puts a definite end to the "(in case X is used)" log spam.

Also note that it at the same time opens up for a potential solution to #44: if only we stop prefixing with update-code/, we would end up with a totally flexible solution allowing the implementor to replace the update step with any custom playbook-specific file, implementing some strategy.

Ok after many --amend, I'm now happy with the patch.
