Okay so this error is because the smtp settings for sending mail for confirmation is missing , This error won't be there once those settings are there , @ana-balica , Can you please add those settings ?

@dweep123 is absolutely right. So far we don't have a dedicated mail server, so I added SMTP configuration to send out emails using my regular gmail account.
I tested it and it works, but waiting on approval to close the issue.
