Will send a PR soon
from mentorship-android.
@Shritesh99 before sending a PR please let us know you're going to be working on this, just so I can be aware of which issues are being worked on and let others know. I'm reviewing your PR now
from mentorship-android.
Is this issue still available?
May I work on this?

Can you please tell me what needs to be done here
Cause the keyboard in not hiding, but what condition should we be putting to hide it?

I'm not fully aware of how this should be fixed. If I were to make it I would start with the closed PRs opened in the past for this issue #316 and #146 or just hit a google search. Don't feel heavy, you can take as much time as you need untill you understand it.
I also would suggest you solve the same problem for login activity if you get comfortable with it.

I am sorry I was not clear before
I needed to ask you that when should the keyboard disappear?
Like when the user has input their password or what?
from mentorship-android.
This is quite simple to do, but the thing is, what should be the condition in which the keyboard should hide?
For example, if I have entered my password, and then am entering the password again (confirm password), should it close then, if yes, then on which condition should it close? One condition can be, that when the user has re-entered the correct password, then we can close the keyboard automatically, but is there any other case?
from mentorship-android.
I think it should be when the user taps in the clear (white) area of the screen beside the confirm password.
Also again sorry for slow interaction.

Thank you for the clarification

@Priyansh-Kedia are you still working on this issue?

@Priyansh-Kedia Please update your progress
from mentorship-android.
@anna4j
The process is still unclear for the same.
from mentorship-android.
@Priyansh-Kedia But you said you'll send a PR soon in the last message. Why didn't you ask for clarification then? Is there anything the coding-team can help you with?
from mentorship-android.
@anna4j
Yes, I would need some more clarification.
from mentorship-android.
Could I work on this issue?
I'm participating in OSH
from mentorship-android.
@Sommie09 Hey! That's great, however, OSH starts on 1st September and I can't officially assign you just yet. Your PR will be considered for OSH only if you're assigned after 1st. Before that, if I assign you it'll be a regular contribution.
If you want to participate in OSH specifically, I'd suggest you set up all the projects that you're interested to work on first. And meanwhile, you can also work on other issues not labeled "Open Source Hack", because any contribution is good for us!
Do come back on 1st and I'll happily assign you to this issue!
from mentorship-android.
@anna4j Can I be assigned this issue?
