Issue "getGoogleAppId failed" about location-samples

Hmmm. I can run the sample fine using the Emulator. Do you have trouble running the sample on a real device as well?

I see the same issue on a Nexus5, however the sample runs as expected. Fetch works fine.

When I run it on the Nexus 5 and 6 emulators, it gives me these errors as well:

E/GMPM: getGoogleAppId failed with status: 10
E/GMPM: Uploading is not possible. App measurement disabled

But it works when I use Galaxy Tab or a Android phone. Aside from renaming the root folder to a shorter name where the sample app resides and updating Google Play Services, I haven't really changed anything. Does anyone know why this is the case?
