Saw the commit but I can't get to the queue interface. 'q' does nothing from 'monky-status' buffer.

The mode-maps are defined using defvar
. so you have restart emacs.

I guess my comment was that I'm not sure how to use the queue support you just added. Perhaps some documentation would help.
