Overwriting existing DB about cordova-plugin-dbcopy

Now when I think, I don't want to overwrite each time I open an app.
do you have any ideas how to handle the updates of the db?

Since, the plugin is just copying the db from one location to another, it is not opening the db. It would be Ok to add the overwrite flag. I will see it, if I get a time today or tomorrow.

Thanks, but either way I need to make some kind of versioning to know when to update the database. and maybe do some renaming, I want to avoid copying 15mb of db each time user open the app.
