Hmm ... I'll take a look and get back to you. TBH Composer is something I tack on because people seem to want it -- I don't use it myself so my troubleshooting efforts may be a bit meek :)

I've just updated the packagist for Alert -- apparently I didn't have it auto-updated. Please let me know if that resolves your issues.
