The problem seems to be the Fetch keys timed out, but seems fishy that it took more than 60s for what should normally take 1s.

Are you sure the host is set to the right ip address? It should be the ip address that you use to visit the main Tp-Link web portal.

Please turn on debug logging for the component and get the debug logs.

Yep, did verify the ip address. Seems right to me.
I did use the default gateway ip which is the router's webportal ip

Thanks very much. After some research, I figured out that my admin credentials password had a special character "^". I did update the password in tp link webportal eliminating the special character and now it works fine.
