The issue was related to lack of file:// schema when trying to load the API.
I was discussing this issue with @antoniogarrote.
First of all it should give more constructing feedback with error message. I wouldn't be able to figure it out by myself that this is missing proper schema.
Secondly, local paths should be supported by AMF. This is what would be expected from node library. It is natural among all node libraries to provide path to a file like ./path/to/a/file.raml instead of file://path/to/a/file.raml. This is very uncommon.
