I found the problem and fixed it in my code. This is caused by changes in the Microsoft C runtime in version 2015. I recently upgraded Visual Studio from 2013 to 2015 and Matlab from 2015a to 2015b. The fix is simply to delete all objects and recompile, so that all CRT components have the same version.
