Thanks for trying it out! The issue you are encountering is actively being worked on upstream (in the rltk_rs library). There's a candidate fix up, you should be able to cargo update to force a download of the latest version of the library, and give it a go.
The issue stems from some Linux window managers not playing nicely with the "polling" mode of receiving window events, so I'm trying to find the right balance between platforms for consistent operation!
