verify_recaptcha() always return false about recaptcha

I corrected it added in config/initializers/recapcha.rb like this:

Recaptcha.configure do |config|
config.public_key = '6Lcy3xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx'
config.private_key = '6Lcy3xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx'

config.proxy = 'http://www.google.com/recaptcha/api/verify'

end

I'm having hte same problem, but I have confirmed that my public and private key are set correctly in the configuration. I'm not sure why it's not working. In my local environment it seems to work, but on production it always returns false.

Same problem for me, on local environment it's working fine but on staging it's failing.
Does anyone have an idea why ?

I have similar issue, it works fine in development, staging and production and always retuns falsein test environment.

The best way to solve this is to just stub verify_recaptcha

before do
  allow(controller).to receive(:verify_recaptcha).and_return(true)
end
