That's a good idea. For some reason I thought there was a way to do that already?

Maybe it is - I haven't found it though. It's probably best if you look first, please let me know if it's already there.

I found it, it's not configurable though, and it should be.

It's currently defined like:

module Recaptcha
  # ...
  SKIP_VERIFY_ENV = ['test', 'cucumber']
end

You can just add 'development' in there as a work around. It's in lib/recaptcha.rb.
