I uploaded a sample engine with the reproduced error here:

The error is:
bundle exec rspec spec
An error occurred in a `before(:suite)` hook.
Failure/Error: DatabaseRewinder.clean_all
NoMethodError:
undefined method `empty?' for nil:NilClass
Finished in 0.01801 seconds (files took 1.09 seconds to load)
0 examples, 0 failures
Not sure this will help, but thought I would post it up just in case!
