Improve short path names about notational-fzf-vim

Not going to do 2 since I don't want to add special cases to the code. If you can think of a clean way to do it, as much as I hate this phrase, feel free to send a pull request.

I have been looking for this exact option or feature since I have been using this plugin (a while now, thanks btw).

I am sorry if I am missing something obvious, but I carefully read the readme (could not find the help file in vim), and, the only related setting I can find is the 'nv_use_short_path_name' variable which in my experience does not shorten the user home directory with ~ when set to 0. It does shorten all directories to one letter when set to 1, but I cannot find a more granular way to show the subdirectories under the declared search paths as described in 3.

I would love to be able to get some implementation of 3, but I would still be quite happy with 1. Thanks for your help.
