Immune Epitope and Protein Disorder Project, trying to find the relation between epitopes and protein disorder. If epitope sequences are found in disordered protein regions, it shows strong correlation that proteins mutate to adapt to epitopes. Because we are unsure about how much of the antibody system works with regards to detection and elimination of foreign bodies so quickly, this study would provide strong evidence to the importance of disordered regions in the immune system.
