Nope.

1. ASIHTTPRequest is obsolete and deprecated since a while now (multiple years I believe) and is not maintained anymore. The official repo have even be removed from GitHub by its author. You should migrate to another library.
2. ASIHTTPRequest did NOT use the standard Cocoa URL Loading System. Instead at the time they created the library, they reimplemented a whole HTTP standard themselves using sockets and low-level methods, instead of using the Cocoa networking layer like NSURLConnection & NSURLSession as well as AFNetworking and other libs do.

It has been years that people don't use ASIHTTPRequest anymore anyway and its support dropped by the community anyway.

Thanks a bunch for prompt answer and double thanks for explanation regarding Cocoa URL System for ASIHTTP library because I was not sure about ASIHTTP either they are using Cocoa URL system or not.
