Having this issue as well, but instead I am getting this return from the example sentence "entries are due by January 4th, 2017 at 8:00pm":
<generator object DateFinder.find_dates at 0x1109ff3b8>

This last behaves properly for me

test="entries are due by January 4th, 2017 at 8:00pm"
matches = datefinder.find_dates(test)
for match in matches: print match
...
2017-01-04 20:00:00

Thanks! I got it to work after a bit of tinkering. Found out that I was double parsing the datetime object, and that was throwing the error.

This works now.

In [1]: text = "check for flights between pune and mumbai before 10 PM"

In [2]: import datefinder

In [3]: print(list(datefinder.find_dates(text, source=True)))
[(datetime.datetime(2022, 8, 3, 22, 0), '10 PM')]

Be mindful of the base_date.
