Thx for the input.
Support for the ITE IT8712F is also required in issue 27. Some ITE IT8712F
revisions
might need support for cases where no 16-bit fan tacho is available (which is
the
main reason for not implementing support for it so far).
Better labels for temperatures would be good, but they seem to be very mainboard
specific (at least last time I checked about them for the ITE series).
I am not sure if I will use all suggested changes, but the ITE IT8712F will be
added
for sure.

Regarding ITE 8712F
I'm working with an older machine and the +12v voltage appears to be reported
incorrectly.
currently the value is calculated:
voltage = value + (value -Vf) * Ri/Rf
from the data sheet calculations should follow:
Positive Voltage: Vs = Vin X (Ra+Rb) / Rb
Negative Voltage: Vs = (1+Rin/Rf) X Vin – (Rin/Rf) X VREF
Is there a way to change the formula not just the parameters?
Also if you need resistor values from the main board i can supply these.
From attached report:
Version: 0.2.1.0

The formulas you posted can be simplified as follows
Positive voltage:
voltage = value * (Ra + Rb) / Rb
= value * (Ra / Rb + 1)
= value * (Ra / Rb) + value
= value + (value - 0) * Ra / Rb
You get the same formula in the Open Hardware Monitor if you use:
Vf = 0, Ri = Ra, Rf = Rb.
Negative Voltage:
voltage = (1+Rin/Rf) * value – (Rin/Rf) * VREF
= value + (Rin/Rf) * value – (Rin/Rf) * VREF
= value + (Rin/Rf) * (value - VREF)
= value + (value - VREF) * Rin/Rf
You get the same formula in the Open Hardware Monitor if you use:
Vf = VREF, Ri = Rin, Rf = Rf.
This means the two formulas you posted are only special cases of the formula
used in the Open Hardware Monitor and no change of formula is required. If you
have correct resistor / reference voltage values for any mainboard, then these
are always welcome.
The current collection of resistor / reference voltage valuse can be found in
the source code:
