There's nothing wrong with the code. All the properties mentioned above that supposedly do not exist, do in fact exist. Maybe report this as a bug for the closure compiler.

It happens to be an issue with how you defined the attributes on the BOOMR object and how the closure compiler figures out which functions exist on the object. Why is the "delete BOOMR_start" code not an issue? It does not work when I run the code in strict mode (which is what I am doing for my project).

The way I define the attributes on the BOOMR object (ie, define them on boomr and then transfer to BOOMR) is necessary to avoid clobbering any earlier defined BOOMR object (which is possible if a plugin is loaded before boomerang.js). There are other ways to do this, but this is the most compact, and jslint is okay with it. I've never used the closure compiler, so I can't say why it has problems with some parts of the code and not others. I do know that this isn't a problem with the code itself. All other JavaScript interpreters execute it without a problem.

If you're looking for a minifier, consider using jsmin or uglify.js
