Just a quick note, beta2 (39c2eeb, r2354) works fine. Will do some bisect later.

Bisect shows faulty commit is (37af2df, r2800). This is pretty big one, not sure where is regression.

That doesn't make sense, that commit was done a week days ago (this issue was opened 2 month ago) and is unrelated to besside-ng.

Yes, this is maybe a different issue. I am using Atheros AR9331 with OpenWRT trunk build. r2800 touches some common files in osdep/, used by besside-ng. This change is pretty wired to me. I believe the problem goes to iwpriw/wlanctl-ng execution in linux_set_channel_nl80211/linux_set_channel.

I'll look into that specific issue (when I'll get the MIPS board I ordered) but the original one is somewhere else since it happened at least 2 month ago.

aircrack-ng/aircrack-ng@39c2eeb crashes on my TL-WN722N on Kali 2 with:
besside-ng: wi_read(): Invalid argument

If my memory serves me well, I didn't have these issues when I was running Kali 1 VM with latest version from git. I'll play around a bit to see if I would be able to come up with a version that doesn't crash.

I don't think this is related to a change in aircrack, because I tried reverting to old versions as far as 2010 and it still crashes the same way. Most likely it has to do with some change in the ath9k driver, because I can clearly recall that it was working previously in some version of Kali 1, which most probably had an older driver. Tried to reproduce it, but without any luck so far.
