What I think:

Being alone having the rights on a project is a bad idea. But I think the AFPy should not influence how we choose with who we share those rights. Even worse, I don't think we should centralize all upload rights, looks like a security issues magnet.

@vpoulailleau give the rights to upload on PyPI to who you trust and when you want to, it does not have to be corelated with a move of the repo under the afpy/ org.

@Seluj78 Oops, yes! So many things to do at the moment, I forgot this one! I'll try to do it tomorrow morning.

Why would you need to change rights in pypi and codeclimate ? Unless you can give rights to people in the @afpy/traduction the rights I don't think it's useful :) maybe give it to one or two people as backup, like @JulienPalard and me did on some of our projects

@JulienPalard This sounds wise! I'll check how to give rights for PyPI.

Concerning CodeClimate, since it's free for open-source, you configure it through your GitHub account. Since padpo won't be in my account (only a fork that I'll have to keep up to date), it would be better to configure CodeClimate with the AFPy account. Would this be possible (one needs to give access to public repositories to CodeClimate)?

Accepted!

vpoulailleau avatar vpoulailleau commented on August 19, 2024

@vpoulailleau tu n'arrive pas a l'ajouter ?

vpoulailleau avatar vpoulailleau commented on August 19, 2024
