I think the amount of work we'd need to do to shim around all the code that expects to talk to app shell APIs -- persistence, reading folder contents, reading file contents, etc. -- isn't worth it given that it'd all be throwaway code and that we're going to build a "real" server-based version within the next 1-2 iterations.

Can we treat this as "won't fix"?

Oh, I just wanted to stick some default content in the editor :) But it just occurred to me that we can just copy and paste into the editor, so yeah, we can just close this.
